Olivia was a shy girl who lived on the ark with 12 other nations. She was a shy girl and kept to herself. Her mother was no one special on the ship just a guard. Her father got floated for stealing food for his family. She dreamt of the ground that has been uninhabited for 97 years. When she fines out 100 criminals were being sent to the ground she knew she had to get on that ship. She does the unthinkable and lands a spot on the dropship next to this boy named John Murphy.

Freya couldn't forgive Bellamy for the consequences, and their once-strong bond shattered. Their friendship turned into avoidance and resentment, with both cutting all contact. When Octavia, along with 99 other teenaged prisoners awaiting their death sentence, was scheduled to be sent to Earth in a desperate attempt to save humanity, with the Ark's dwindling life-support threatening its survival yet again, everything changes. They were going to send 100 delinquents to the ground as an experiment to see whether the level of radiation was survivable or not. In doing so, they managed to sentence almost all of them to an untimely death that was almost inevitable. With the idea of freedom, Hailey knows that she is never safe and that if weaknesses are shown, someone will use them against her. Will she be able to overcome her emotional and mental walls, even if it means that she'd be vulnerable? Being on the ground will change Hailey in ways that the people on the ark would never expect.
