The Earth is made up of four elements, Water, Earth, Fire and Air. Each is a powerful force controlled by four humans that posses the power to manipulate one of the four elements, they are called Elementals, the power is passed down from father to son, usually at the age of 18. Elementals are cursed to have their first born a boy. A girl being their first child is rare. But very important. Only four Elementals exist at a time, once an Elemental passes down their power they lose it forever. Elementals who refuse to pass down their power a turned into darkness, the darkness over powers them, grasping for any light left inside of them, once it takes over, the elemental power escapes and into the closest human, man or woman. Paige Courtice, an only chlild, has no relation to the Elementals nor any idea they exist. But at her graduation a mysterious old man appears, and even more mysterious hooded people appear. Paige discovers the world of Element's and other supposedly mythological creatures. As she must endure a quest in order to save the Elementals and conquer the darkness.

Earth, water, air and fire are the four known elements that gives balance and harmony to nature. There is also another element but not quite as known as the other four, this element is spirit. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Around the world there are many children graced with a gift to be able to do an element but they would have to learn to control it. If unable to control their element, there will always be destruction following in their paths. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - But it is extremely rare for a child to have more than one element as well as being able to control the fifth element. No one knows who this child is, but once they find out they'll need him/her to save the world. Elemental magic is based upon the four core elements - Earth, Air, Fire and Water. Elemental magic is most prominent in England, where many mages gather to learn and research elemental magic. However, during the early 1500's, the Fire Outbreaks happened. Several various fire mages suddenly swept through and destroyed the smaller cities of England, killing many in their way and leaving no survivors. Due to this the Council of Magic, the governing figure of elemental magic, issued an act - The Anti-Fire Act. This effectively banned any and all use of fire magic within all of England. The Council of Magic was later changed to the Triumvirate in the 1540's, and from then on are set on killing off every last fire mage. Allen Fleming, a 15 year old air mage, wishes to attend the Magical Knights Academy. The academy is where many young, prominent mages attend to improve their use of magic, and eventually become a magical knight. Magical knights are the respected mages who protect the cities of England and keep its citizens safe. But in order to even attend the academy, Allen must first pass the entrance exam. However, Allen's magic is extremely weak and he relies mostly on his physical fighting ability. Air is considered the strongest element within England, and with his lack of air magic prowess, many mages hate and ignore him. So far, the known abilities are fire, water, earth and air. These people wear red cloaks and mask to protect their identities. What happens when there is a person that has all the abilities and more?
