Elemental

The Earth is made up of four elements, Water, Earth, Fire and Air. Each is a powerful force controlled by four humans that posses the power to manipulate one of the four elements, they are called Elementals, the power is passed down from father to son, usually at the age of 18. Elementals are cursed to have their first born a boy. A girl being their first child is rare. But very important. Only four Elementals exist at a time, once an Elemental passes down their power they lose it forever. Elementals who refuse to pass down their power a turned into darkness, the darkness over powers them, grasping for any light left inside of them, once it takes over, the elemental power escapes and into the closest human, man or woman. Paige Courtice, an only chlild, has no relation to the Elementals nor any idea they exist. But at her graduation a mysterious old man appears, and even more mysterious hooded people appear. Paige discovers the world of Element's and other supposedly mythological creatures. As she must endure a quest in order to save the Elementals and conquer the darkness.
