What would you do if you came across a dead man and accidentally stole his watch? For Luc it was to be a game changer. The problem? The dead man was a murdered spy with a dark secret. Consequent events throw Amy, the dead spy's daughter, and Luc together in a search to find the truth about her father. It takes them on a breathless chase across the world as they become unlikely heroes catapulted into the dark and dangerous world of state secrets, international espionage, Russian assassins and Iranian double agents in this compelling, surprising and often dark story. Many years ago I came across a dead man at a waterfall and although I didn't accidentally steal anything it provided the start point for this story. I also worked with the intelligence services in the UK and this has helped with some of the parts of the story. This is my first novel, although I've had two non fiction books published and have contributed to many articles in international newspapers. Word count: about 85,000 words, 70 chapters, all written, currently editing and releasing on a regular basis.

Biological parents. Both Jersey and Jillean see it as the most uninteresting term ever created in this world. The people they needed the most, but scarred both of them. For them, no matter what happens, all the pain they got from the people who should be protecting them, but did not, will remain. They are both afraid that the pain that those people caused will stay with them as they grow up. Will they ever forgive them? Will they forgive themselves for not being able to forgive easily? With that connection of having the same pained wings, the stars were aligned and bound to let them meet each other. Two different people experiencing the same pain found comfort in each other. But that doesn't mean their relationship started in a sweet way. And when everything was already going well between them and their lives, fate twisted the game differently. This contains a flashbacks of their story during their youth years which Jersey is hoping to continue in the present times as an adult. The story of two people who affect and change each other's lives while fighting loneliness and chasing happiness. A story of two people who are trying to heal each other's wounded wings. Steven must navigate these obstacles while overcoming his own emotional problems, but will he be able to come to terms with the person he really is? Author's Note (Please Read): Hi, Thank you for taking the time to look at my story, I hope you enjoy. I do want to give a brief explanation and a few warnings before you start. The alternate story line starts during the episode "Fragments" in Steven Universe future. There are some minor scenes of violence, mostly in Chapters 5 and 9, chapter 5 especially, I went a little overboard not gonna lie. There is also some minor language, nothing too much, just some sprinkled in every now and then. Everything is still PG-13 so don't worry about anything too hardcore. Other than that, I hope you enjoy.
