Sebastian is a man of means. What he wants, he gets. And there's quite so much he wants more than Callie...
"Who are you?" I asked, nervously.
Was he someone from Alpha Alesandro's pack? Had he come to collect me and take me back? Lord, I hoped not, because if he had then I wasn't going down without a fight. I wouldn't not mate myself to that creepy old man.
A small quirk of his lips was the only indication that he had heard me. Then, he took a step forth and his gaze wandered freely over my figure. I immediately felt self-conscious. I knew that I wasn't the most curvaceous or even built girl. I was just passable with everything. I barely filled out a 'B' cup in bras. My mind turned tables imagining everything negative that he could say about my body.
"Sebastian, at your service," he said, giving me a mock bow.
I glanced at him for a moment with total irritation and shock that he would be so bold as to do that to me and of the fact that I recognized him. He was the legendary assassin of supernaturals. He came second to none, not even to Luciano Meyers and he was a well known name across the world. Maybe, it wasn't such a good idea to be here in this secluded town, where I didn't know anyone.
"Bye, Sebastian--" I started to say.
He chuckled. A low husky sound that echoed through my bloodstream and sent shivers of heat spiraling through me. This man had managed in five seconds flat to send my nerves from annoyed to scared to...lust. I blinked.
"I wouldn't count on it, Callie," he said, suddenly.
Oh, shit, I thought, he knows who am I, but how?
