The Shadow of the Gods is a story set in a Europe in the far distant future, where people calling themselves gods have ruled since time immemorial. In a sleepy village far from the splendour of Olympus, a teenage boy named Alexias Makris wakes up one morning, prepared for another day of hard labour in the fields, not knowing that this day would change not just the course of his destiny, but of the destinies of everyone inhabiting Alexias' broken world.

Whisked away from his home to magnificent Olympus, home of the gods, Alexias becomes a servant, but there he is swept away into a word of political machinations and total upheaval in the world of the gods.
Zeus, an anchor of stability and the implacable leader of the gods has disappeared.
With every god clambering over one another to get the top chair, the people are ignored, and, for the first time since the distant past, the gods' power is threatened,
For when Kings clash, all of the land feels the tremours.

*to be edited: please excuse any continuity errors and / or mistakes in regards the writing quality of Hades* Ellie is just like every other normal eighteen year old girl in the world, except for one big reason. She's the daughter of Hades. And an immortal goddess in charge of managing suicide in the world. And she's been locked in the darkness of the Underworld for her entire life. So basically, her life couldn't get any more abnormal if she tried. Ellie longs to experience life like everybody else her age, but for as long as she can remember her parents haven't let her travel up to the surface, and she's been forced to imagine the upper world through the stories her mother told and the books she read. Until, one day, her parents finally give in and let her go up to the surface to see the world through her own eyes, and her world explodes with colour. Then, just when she thinks her life couldn't get more exciting, she stumbles across a very particular green-eyed god; one who throws her perfectly organised world into complete chaos and shows her what it means to live in the light. But what Ellie doesn't know, is that the Fates have a prophecy for her. A prophecy that she couldn't escape if she tried. A prophecy that has tangled it's gnarled fingers into the threads of her life, and may just throw the world into the darkness Ellie has spent her whole life trying to escape. "He's the son of Aphrodite, she's the daughter of Hades. He's light, she's the oncoming darkness. He advocates for love, she's the embodiment of death. What could possibly go wrong?" "Jealous?" "Why would I be?" "Because I know your fantasies." He argued. I leaned closer to him, smelling his overwhelming scent. "And I'm appalled at how they are just that. Fantasies." He smiled and leaned closer, piercing through my eyes with the blue of his. I wanted to grab the dagger beneath my pillow and kill him already. "Are you now?" He answered, coming dangerously close to me. He brought his hand up to lift my chin, our noses touching. Gods, help me. I want nothing to do with this man. I really don't. He hates me, and I hate him. Our banter is not just banter; there's always a sense of truth in between, and that's what makes it all the more addicting. - THE GOD is the master of death and darkness. Lore, previously known as Hades, rarely ever visited the mortal realm. As the gods get involved in a war against the rebellious uprising amongst the dark angels, he must work together with a group of immortals, a ruthless and serpentine assassin being one of them. THE SHADOW is a half-breed. Left destitute at seven and made a killer eleven years later, she leaves destruction and death wherever she walks the mortal realm. Forced into a team unit as punishment for her insolent behavior, she must work with the god she grew to admire and learned to hate. Alliances built on lies and hatred are inevitable to fall. Who will win in this game of the gods? (Modern Retelling of the story of Hades & Persephone)

The Barren Halls of Mount Olympus

7 Partes Concluida

The halls of Olympus have been emptied leaving only a confused Zeus cursed by darkness to lose memories of who belongs there. Now he depends on inaccurate Earthen histories of his people to try to find clues as to who belongs up there with him. The gods have been scattered to the earth, reborn by humans and do not know anything about their true heritage or power. Zeus uses logic to find them by eliminating the ordinary and looking for the unusual and extraordinary among the humans to find his people. He spies the first one he suspects and hopes that if he can convince her to take her place within the halls of the gods that she will help him find the others and eventually the perpetrators of the darkness which caused this to happen in the first place. What was known about the gods is all about to change.
