Mail Jeevas, a long time friend of Mello's, has always been there for him, although Mello never fully appreciated him. Matt, who's used to this treatment, wouldn't have it any other way.
What else are friends for? At least he gets to see his troubled sometimes.
That is, until his whole life is thrown into utter chaos with nothing but a phone call from Mello that contains no information, no location and no details. Now, Mello is badly injured and Matt finds himself in over his head with trying to save his friend.
Not only that, but now Mello's drawn Matt into the entire mess surrounding the Kira Case - something he tried to keep him away from and now, he may be too far under to get his friend out
