"We need a accountant." They say in union, it was creepy.
"For what, you're both successful and rich." I say as they look around in disgust.
"We are not going to let you live in this hellhole we will pay you a lot." Zander says as he hands me a piece of paper with a number on it. My eyes go wide.
"This much?!" I ask.
"Yep.Of course you will have to move in with us." Axel says.
"Wait what? I have someone to take care of I'm not leaving her here." I start to protest.
"Its part of the deal, take it or leave it."Zander says forcefully.
I felt shivers down my neck and, not that bad kind. I just stood straight and started them in the eyes, not accepting nor denying the offer.
"Fine. I guess you're leaving it."Zander says as they both start to walk away.
"No!Wait!You called my bluff.....but I have one condition." I say
"What is it???"Axel says
"That she is taken care of." I ask, pleading with my eyes.
"Fine." They both say at the same time.
As they stare me down and wait for my next move I say
"When do I start?"
"Right now."Zander says, pushing me against the wall.
