Tristan and his friends were just chilling at the local high school when a new kid shows up to class. Everyone looked at him with envy, he was muscular, amazing and he had a full beard, which made him look super bad-ass. As the day went on, they end up befriending him.
Soon, things go out of hand and the 4 friends turn into something they least expected. Now it's up to them to save a race from it's ultimate destruction.
Now, they've become hybrids.

Six high school students looks like anyone else acts like anyone else but are capable of things no one else is. They learnt from a young age no one that means NO ONE can know about their powers even their parents and other siblings. It brings out the true friends and those who just want to use you. In the end, what do you do when your closest friend betrays you? This is the story as they try to keep their biggest darkest secret of what they are capable of and as they discover they're not the only ones like them... I am not very good at trigger warnings before individual chapters but there is mention of blood, cold abuse and parents divorcing. (But read at your own risk in case I mention something else. I am working on rewriting this story and when I do there will be the trigger warnings in the correct places.) (small teaser.) No one sees me. I am a ghost. I brush against the wooden fence. "Shift." His voice hit me like a serrated blade as he stepped out of the crude semicircle of hardened wolves that had formed around me.
