At the age of nine, Ayumi made a promise to Sehun when they first met at a park. The promise was to never leave his side whenever he needed her. That's how their unusual relationship started.
As they grew older Sehun grew more careless about his well being and started getting annoyed by her presence. Although he tried pushing her out of his life, Ayumi stayed. Throughout all the dirty girls he slept with, all the fights he got into, and all the trouble he's been through, she was always there for him.
Like everyone else, her father never accepted Sehun but he never stopped Ayumi from going to see Sehun because she was still doing her part of their deal. She made a deal with her father that if she kept working as the heir of his company than he'd leave her and Sehun alone. Of course he kept his promise but he still had someone to watch over his one and only precious daughter.
