We all make choices.

            He awoke with a start. Memories of his dream still fresh in his mind. He dreamt of the same man repeating the same phrase. It was unsettling. He wiped the sweat from his skull, releasing his tight grip on his chest.

           He could never quite remember the full detail of his dreams. Always the man's face was absent from his mind. Even now as he struggles to remember, the image slips from view. Only few details remain. The familiar phrase rang through his skull. 


        This is a story about a mortal artist named Encre, a frustrated vampire named Fallacy, and the tale of how they met. There's conflict, romance, bloodshed and a mystery waiting to be solved.

Fallacy and Encre hold each other in their dying arms as they are steadily turning to dust. Encre sheds his last few tears as he kisses Fallacy ever so gently scared he will dust faster if he kisses him any harder. Fallacy kisses Encre back lightly so he does not crumble away faster than the calm crumble they are both enduring. Fallacy lifts a trembling hand and strokes Encre's cheek gently, resting his hand there as they both turn to dust. Both smiling as they depart from this timeline leaving nothing but their dust and memories behind.
