The plane crashed. Her family died along with the rest of the planes passengers. But somehow, Dakota Grey and a small baby survived.
Dakota know's nothing about where she is until she meets a friendly person and his not so friendly sister, Sebastian and Cassie Moore. They, more of Sebastian than Cassie, take her and the baby to a near by hospital and take her in. Every night nightmares rack her brain about her family dying and even worse, she and the baby--or are they?-- are the only human's that live there.
Dakota Grey finds out that she is a long way from home.
