"I wish I was a bird, ya know? So I could just fly away and be free and do whatever I want. I could get away from here and all the bad things. I don't like it here, I never have. I just wish I could spread my wings and fly far, far away." she said as she stared out of the window into the starry sky.
I looked at her from my chair with watery eyes and spoke softly, "Aspen, young birds can't fly, and I don't want you to fall..."
Aspen Scott and Niall Horan met at Stone Orphanage in Ireland. Once you get taken in, you can't leave until you're adopted, and if you turn 19 and don't get adopted, they send you to work in the harsh conditions of the real world, and quite possibly living on the streets again. Aspen is an imaginative 18 year old girl, turning 19 soon, and no one has come close to adopting her. Niall has been her best friend since day one, loving her ever since she showed up at the orphanage, and there is no way he can let her leave him.
