About an Australian girl named Shailene (Shay) Ashley, who left her homeland to move to Los Angeles, California unprepared, only to face the hard reality and consequences of choosing to follow her dreams in Hollywood.

As a result of partying a bit too hard on a Saturday night, Shailene Ashley is left unconsious in a park at night, to be found by Grayson and Ethan Dolan. The two take her back to their appartment, for what they thought would be one night. But, hiding from an abusive boyfriend and his friends on lookout, Shay is hesitantly taken in by the twins to be kept safe. Shay and the twins grow closer to eachother as secrets reveal and days pass..
