But then the case was reopened and assigned to Detective Blake, a young, hotheaded detective nicknamed "Hotshot" among his colleagues, and his partner Detective Davis who operates on the logical end of the spectrum. Evidence is solid. Everything falls into place for the trial. but then everything falls apart when somebody from the inside uncovers intel to the accused Brock Philips. Yet things manage to get more complicated when Detective Davis follows his own investigation in Haven which leads him into an emotional spiral when she lets him get close to her, not just as a detective.
