Alex, who is his mate, wanders onto him in a gas station in Florida one night. Xander panics and tries to leave, but Alex stops him. Alex soon realizes their relationship must go much slower than he originally thought. There are also other problems. Alex's parents are homophobic, Xander is a weretiger and Alex is a werewolf- breeds that have never mated before, and Xander is very tentative about any kind of relationship. How will they ever make it together through all of this.
