A man named Xander is running from a cruel past and abusive people who are still trying to find him. He's anxious and has panic attacks and hardly lets anyone touch him and has terrible nightmares. Alex, who is his mate, wanders onto him in a gas station in Florida one night. Xander panics and tries to leave, but Alex stops him. Alex soon realizes their relationship must go much slower than he originally thought. There are also other problems. Alex's parents are homophobic, Xander is a weretiger and Alex is a werewolf- breeds that have never mated before, and Xander is very tentative about any kind of relationship. How will they ever make it together through all of this.
* This is the 1st book in a series for these two men and I'm starting a prequel about Lexi and Blake, other characters, and their story called Love and Beauty. It is not necessary to read that book if you do not wish to.
