Think of it like a story that can be read in any order. Unable to sleep, the poet is transported to a land of angels and demons, and cosmic truths. On their adventure, they visit many strange places like a side walk in the middle of the night, ancient cities half buried in sand, Eden itself, or even the edge of the earth. Scared, they find their beliefs about the nature of the universe are often challenged, but there is no easy way out. Maybe, one day, they won't be lost any more.
For perspective and philosophy see the first half. For life, and experience see the second. A cosmic journey begins at Delight, a more personal one at Regret. There will, however, be overlap.
