"As it stands, we are the last human beings on the planet Earth."

Wren Blackwood and the remainder of humanity live under a glass dome, separated from the radiation, mutants, and ferocious weather that could easily take down even the strongest of beings within days.

The Government protects people, motivates them to create a better world and a stronger, more capable breed of humans - or so they say, but when Wren sees a figure that looks very human beyond the glass, she begins to question whether or not what the Government is saying is really true at all.

When she is exiled to the wastelands outside of the Dome, Wren discovers secrets that could tear down civilizations and start revolutions. Conflicted, Wren must weigh the value of love and sacrifice, family and morals, and above all, freedom and life.

Desperation, ideals, greed, and hope - they all have a role to play in tearing the galaxy apart. The human race finds itself at the precipice; a mysterious, monstrous force threatens everything in the cosmos, and all the while, the unity of humanity's Empire threatens to shatter just when it is needed most. Never before has extinction been so tangible a possibility, and never before has exceptional courage, intellect, and luck been more needed. This is a story about more than just people, their ambitions, and their conflicts: it is a story about crisis, set in a universe where survival, for any side, and for anyone, may be impossible. It remains to be seen if the popular patriotic saying, "Humanity endures," will remain true - even for a week. -- If you wish you purchase a paperback version of this novel, you can do so on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/Humanity-Endures-Evan-Peter-Armstrong/dp/B08P8QK86H. "I want to create a better world where no one hurts each other, to foster a place where love doesn't have to make hate, where no one hurts or kills anybody. A world where I don't have to hurt anybody anymore." The First Dawn has concluded; Children of Blight are running rampant, and the last remaining Bastions of humanity are searching and killing for them for their last chance to find one to restore the earth. The World Capital stands above everyone, with a shadow government smothering the people. The power balance has been tipped for a century now- then came a girl named Armageddon, changing the world forever. Lydia Armageddon, born on the nuclear fronts of the decimated America, was sold to be a child soldier of The World Capital and is found out as a Child of Blight, her trait being named 'Convergence.' The world is at risk of war once more, with the starting gun being fired for the race to control her. Subject to all matters of mutilation, violation, and experimentation, she escapes Blight Laboratories and finds that the world outside is no better than the months she spent in captivity. Hatred for humanity forms, and a monster is coming to be, slowly, just as a fanatical religion predicted all those years ago. Father like daughter. Until she decides to rob an old man sleeping by a fire with an empty gun, not knowing her life was about to be changed forever. The world prepares for the second dawn as Armageddon's child is born-their saviour. The world looks red, and Armageddon is there in the middle of it all, atop a mountain of corpses upon Mother Earth's flesh. March 17th, 2157: A family of three Children of Blight was found hiding on the edge of the Chinese Blight. The events that unfolded that day, as reported by the 48th Platoon of Russian Cyber-Militia, are as follows:

Cassidy lives like most other under 21s - she follows the law. She knows that if she doesn't, she risks being taken away. Rebellious behaviour cannot be tolerated under any circumstances, especially with her parents watching her every move. The rules have been in place for a long time - the Democrats have beaten the Republicans in the New Elections for the past 60 years, with their names being the only recognisable aspects of their parties when comparing to the past. Anyone that chooses not to follow the rules can drop out and become what's known as an Outcast, but then you risk being imprisoned. While America seems to be running perfectly under these laws, a rebellion is stirring among the professionals. With secrets and lies in government and families alike to change the future of America forever, Cassidy finds herself caught up in the middle of the all out war that is about to break out. What she thought she knew about her world is about to change forever, bringing everyone she knows down with her. DISCLAIMER 2016/2017: This book is a few years old at this point, and due to the political uproar in American in 2016 I feel the need to make this abundantly clear. Outcasts takes place in a dystopian world in an undetermined year in the future, and the political parties depicted in this story - the Republicans and the Democrats - are in no way, shape or form a commentary on their real-life counterparts. I had very little knowledge of American politics when I wrote this story, and if I could go back and change their names I would. Throughout the story you will read of absurd flaws in both party agendas, and in no way did I ever intend to shame or defame the real life Republican and Democratic parties of America. See them as purely fictitious - that's what they are, after all.
