I was in the shadows for almost all of my life. I didn't think there would be a time I would break out from the dark I was held in. I was always second, always behind my sister. My parents were always with her; they could care less about me. She was the famous ice skater; she would go to fancy competitions and win. I was just the quiet girl; no one knew about the frail girl in the background. This was until I met the most amazing coach and friend I would have. That also came along with a boy: a hard-headed boy. He gave me a new perspective...but nothing lasts forever right? Good things come to and end, but for me it was way to quick. I guess it's just hard when you're young.
