Jordan Simmons is a senior at Meadow-Reed High School, and her father has just passed away. In an attempt to feel close to him, Jordan goes to the woods every afternoon and builds herself a tree house. She spends all of her spare time here.
Soon after her dad passed, Jordan meets the popular boy at school, Jake. As she struggles to avoid him, he grows ever more persistent, and they seem to keep bumping into each other. When she starts to let her walls down, she discovers that maybe she has been wrong all these years. Perhaps she judged him before she got to know him.
