Pandora was once one of the most peaceful (not completely) places known, until the humans let greed, vanity, gluttony and the rest takeover as it was in their species, experimenting on the creatures they let an accident spark become a flame then a fire which water could not suppress and ice only made it more unbreakable. Every side took a stand and others took advantage of weakness, paranoia and suspicion. But there is always a hero, a heroine, they are just to be found, they may not be perfect, but if this world was not perfect, how can such a thing such as peace be named without destruction and despair.
