Out of lonely desperation, a witch takes a chance and tries it, placing a note in the desk drawer and hoping some sign of wisdom would come to her, even as she doubted anything would happen.
And then she got a reply.

Dead Wrong
Soren never asked to be the only faerie on campus who can see ghosts. Because honestly? It's kind of a nightmare. Between dodging chatty spirits in the hallways, and constantly being late because some 200-year-old ghost will not move from the dorm entrance, Soren has enough problems.
