Living in a world where time haunts you, where you can't kill yourself to end the suffering. Where there's no escape from waiting and waiting until the devils swoop down and grab you. Seeing how much time you have left to live, is haunting humanity.

After being saved he suddenly can see numbers floating above everyone he passes by and quickly figured out that those numbers represent the lifespan of that person counting down in seconds.
