Jareth is a grumpy, broody, lonely Goblin King, searching for his future companion ever since he'd lost the young Sarah all those years ago. He has been watching over a little mortal girl for her whole young life, and has been intrigued by her fascination with the odd and mythical.
Just barely an adult, a fantasy lover, and a fan of the unusual, Raven is one to go to for anything mythical. While she has been growing, she's held onto a little red book like it was her life source. But one night she says a few words, only meant as a crude joke; only to find out that words really do have power.
Read and follow along when their two lives meet and join in an unusual but unique bond.

This story was inspired by art made by Monarobot on Tumblr. ~~~ After Sarah had defeated Jareth, unbeknownst that she will leave him cursed, the handsome and irresistible Goblin King was left with hideous features upon his being. Horns. Wilder teeth. Scaly skin and very bony structures. Jareth was forever stuck in his true, hidden form. In order to reverse the curse, he must find his lost queen, the one who bested him. Sarah is the only one who can cure him, but she must accept the fact that she will become Goblin Queen. Will she accept her fate? I only recommend this story for people who have seen, understood, and enjoyed the 1986 movie Labyrinth, starring David Bowie(and his awesomeness) as Jareth-the villain-and Jennifer Connelly as Sarah-the main character. For those of you who haven't, watch it before reading this story my amazing brain came up with. Sarah and her friends return in this amazing new adventure, Labyrinth 2: Jareth's Comeback. The all-powerful(and totally frightening) Jareth has returned in need of a bride; a young maiden to assist Jareth's rule in the new era of the goblin kingdom! Alas, the only girl Jareth would ever settle for is Sarah, and it will always be that way. But Sarah-even though she had fallen for him with the help of his tricks in the previous adventure-still sees this magic-wielder as an uncaring, selfish, cruel man. But the truth is...he never wanted Toby. He never would've harmed him, the whole thing was done with a decoy. All he wanted was Sarah. Through dangers untold, and hardships unnumbered, Jareth will find a way into Sarah's heart once again, even though her will is as strong as his, and her kingdom as great.
