Brittle Eyes, Brittle Dreams
Mistress Lavellan returns to Skyhold after a tough mission in a state of shock. She is straining under crippling self-doubt and a colorful past. Solas offers support and comfort, but it is clear that Lavellan is bothered by something beyond the strain of helming the Inquisition. Despite Solas' efforts to comfort her, she is profoundly haunted by her past. Unable to suppress the truth any longer, she makes several weighty confessions - including her true status within her clan and the fact that she is a blood mage, though an unwitting and reluctant one. After showing her some revelations in a Fade memory, Solas attempts to confront her with the truth in a way meant to bring comfort. Blighted Empire: Book I: Circle (First Draft)
Dragon Age/Inquisition fanfiction, an alternate re-telling of history. Instead of in Ferelden, the Blight occurs in and consumes Tevinter, resulting in the Tevene having to seek refuge within the South's Circle of Magi. Our story follows the alternate lives of Lavellan and Dorian Pavus, destined to find each other despite everything both have lost. NOTES: There will be three books. I plan to do Final Draft edits at the end of Two, before Three. I'd love input so I can consider things I may not have noticed before the Final Draft. :)Completa
What Comes After (Dragon Age: The Veilguard Solas x Lavellan)
The world has done Solas a disservice, demanding so much from one man who has given up everything of himself to save a world that still demands and takes, and takes and takes and takes until he is left with nothing in the end but a shell of himself and a life full of regrets. "Why?" And yet, he still questions what Ellana Lavellan so freely gives. A (slightly) slower burn version of the Solavellan reunion at the end of Veilguard. A/N: My headcanon is that Lavellan knows (somewhat, the gist of it anyway) about his memories and the things he's done. It feels too much like a bait-and-switch to me if he only reveals it all after she's joined him in the Fade prison, and that she's been misled and lied to. That doesn't sit quite right with me for a happy Solavellan ending especially since she's basically pledged her entire life to him (of course, if it's a dysfunctional Solavellan ending then that works well!)Completa
Veiled Lies and Half-Truths
This story is a Solas x Inquisitor Lavellan fan fiction. It eventually deviates greatly from the actual Dragon Age: Inquisition plot line and focuses more on romance between characters. However, it does contain massive spoilers from all of The Dragon Age games. If you are unfamiliar with the games I provide enough background information and character creation that you will not be lost. I hope you enjoy reading this as much as I have enjoyed writing it. I both love and broke for these characters. This book is complete with a little over 250 chapters. However, I have to type and revise it chapter by chapter because most of my writing was done by hand with a bunch of scribbles everywhere. It is a slower build-up to the spice and relationship as I lay out the foundation, but when it starts, it picks up drastically. Don't worry, when it's complete I will list the spice chapters for those of you who are only interested in that. *No judgment because same* There will eventually be a Solas POV for this story. *Eventually* Please make sure to look at the trigger warnings if that is a concern.
