In this AU, Superboy and Robin are best friends and everyone knows this, but their counterparts Jonathan Kent and Damian Wayne don't get along. Damian avoids Jon while in school and Jon only wants to be friends with him. Jon does have his own group of friends in the form of Cassie Sandsmark (Wonder Girl), Helena Wayne (Batgirl not huntress) and his sister Lara Kent (Supergirl). Damian has his own group as well in the form of Conor Lance-Queen (QuickDraw), Art Curry (AquaBoy) and Alexander Luthor Jr. Will Jon get Robin to be his friend out of costume or will he drive a wedge between them.... In this story Damian (17) is one year older then Jon (16) and his sister while Lara Jon's sister is a year younger then Jon. Cassie and Alexander Luthor are the same age as Damian while Conor Queen is the same age as Jon. Since there are no powers that means everything has changed, Thomas and Martha still died but Bruce doesn't become Batman, he became friends with Clark and Diana in school. He met Talia the princess of Infinity Island on a business trip and had a twins children with her, Damian and Athanasia, but they fell out of love and he married Selina. Damian while angry and aggressive and is portrayed as this big hotshot is actually extremely damaged and picked on, that's why he dropped out of school and opted for Alfred's homeschooling but what happens when Bruce sends him back to 'literal hell on Earth'. Will everyone remember him or will they have forgotten. Jonathan Kent Captain of the football team, dating one of the most popular girls at school. Everything is going his way and life is great but what happens when a familiar yet unfamiliar faces bumps into him at school. The son of Batman and the son of Superman, Damian Wayne and Jonathan Kent, have been working as partners for years now, ever since they were forcibly paired together by their fathers. While forced together, the two proved to be quite the match for each other, quickly becoming friends. It was then that something quite unexpected happened, Jonathan developed a romantic interest in his new bird themed partner. Little did the young Kryptonian know that his friend had developed the same form of care for him... ~~~ Hey guys, StormBoy1 here, I plan for this story to be a little fluff piece with a small bit of angst perhaps, but mostly fluff. Also Damian and Jon will be aged differently, now with only a one year difference between them. As with all my stories, if you have an idea and I particularly like it, I'll adapt and weave it into the story. Feel free to suggest things to me. I personally really like this ship and I am disappointed that they didn't have this dynamic continue and that they screwed with Jon so much. But I still have my own headcannon for all this and I don't read many recent DC comics anymore because of the lack of supersons (I know, petty, but I really freaking liked those two xD) I've always thought that Superboy and Robin were always destined to be friends...
