Autumn Halmer is a high school senior just waiting to get out of her shitty small town. Her boyfriend broke up with her, her best friend, now ex-bestfreind, is trying to make her life miserable. He got his shit together and is actually a straight-A student. So, his parents let him come back to the states for his senior year. But what his parents don't know is how miserable Grant is. When Grant comes back, he just can't wait to leave and never come back. But that is until certain brunette catches his eye. He is determined to know her. All of her. Maybe he saves her. She also tries not to get into trouble during school, her life depends on it. Her mom left her and her dad is an alcoholic mess that abuses her. She works in a bookstore and as an library assistant to make money so she can take care of herself, 'cause her dad would waste all the money he makes on alcohol. Her life has no meaning, she has nothing, she's all alone and has no one to go to. But what happens when Chris wakes up hungover on Rhea's couch? Will their everyday life still be the same? Would their friendship continue to grow into something more?
