It has been one year ever since the happenings in the small town of Hawkins, Indiana. Lucy and her friends are a year older, and the six have had pretty normal lives. But, the word 'normal' isn't a word in Hawkins.
Spring. Hawkins, Indiana. 1985. Lucy finds a portal to the infamous Upside Down, and she accidentally opened it, causing both worlds to intertwine. The kids see darker, more twisted versions of themselves, and see what would Lucy and Kevin's lives were have been if their parents were found dead.
The kids only have three months for them to fix the portal, or Hawkins will never be the same.
