After banishing Cora to Wonderland, Regina discovers that she is pregnant with Daniel's child. She uses magic to disguise her pregnancy from Leopold. Consumed by her hatred of Snow, Regina enlist the help of Rumplestiltskin to take the baby girl away and erase her memories of her daughter. The infant is brought to an orphanage in a nearby village. She is different from the other kids. She is a quick learner and has strange and powerful magic. The villagers fear her and because she has no name they call her "Little Witch". One night when the girl is very young (about 6) she has a dream vision of a young man and woman in a stable. She hears the man call the woman Regina and Regina calls the man Daniel. The little girl feels a kinship towards the couple and knows them to be her parents. She gives herself the name Danielle after her father. When Danielle is 9, she makes a wish on the blue star for a fresh start in a new life. Her wish is granted and she is sent to the land of untold stories where she remains frozen as a child. Flashforward to present day Storybrooke, the people of the land of untold stories are in a new land and they are continuing their stories. Among them is a dark haired child with an olive skin tone and blue eyes, Danielle. Because of her dream visions she knows that her mother is in Storybrooke, the question is will she go looking for her?And will Regina believe her?
