Shaylyn Anne Prince is sweet,timid, and smart. She lives with her overprotective dad who's a mechanic. Lately it seems like their financial problems are getting worse and Shaylyn has no other choice but to get a job. She tried diverse part-time jobs but none of them seems to work out until she's been offered a job by the richest woman in the state to babysit her five-year-old Mariah. Shay loves little kids so she couldn't be any happier for this opportunity to have a job that's going to help her and her dad and at the same time she'll get to spend time with the lovely Mariah. All this happiness is about to be ruined when Shay meets Mariah's older brother: Jayden Davis. The handsome jock at Shay's high school who is always making fun of her for being a nerd.
