Lavelle lives in a society where nothing is face to face. Everything is conducted online.

Shaya, a city in present-day Scotland on Earth in 3046, has no face to face interaction. All shopping, communication, reading, writing, work of any kind etc., it's all done on the internet. No one uses stores outside anymore. No one but Lavelle.

15-year-old Lavelle lives in Shaya. She walks outside to busy herself while the days roll by, one after the other. Each day brings something new and Lavelle wishes she could share it with someone. When she meets Caser that finally might be possible.

But Caser is ailing. He has an unknown disease that attacks in spasms. Next, to that, her father is also sick.

Can Lavelle save her father, her friend, and her world before it all comes crashing down?

A dystopian young adult novel involving romance, secret experiments on human subjects, and a group of teenagers' will to survive. Reader Comments: "I'm gonna gush about your book real quick...all the technology has a purpose and is beautifully explained so I can picture it in my mind...the whole concept of the book is completely original...*moment of silence for your beautiful arch of character development* everything your characters do is strictly them but they develop enough to show more about themselves without you straight up telling the reader about them" -Vairl9023 "Ahh!!! This is so good!! I will be anxiously awaiting the next Chapter!!" -CrystalBagot "Brilliant...ohh, this is very catchy, good work" -IndeeMaynard "I love this so far" -BrianneMorris "You've done a great job at creating a mysterious mood" -poisonedpen *** All Evita Creedy, 17, wants is to finish her degree and be accepted for a prestigious job with the city's Department of Energy. In the midst of a warring America resides a community founded on uniformity. From the day they were created, every inhabitant of the community was promised a life of eternal happiness; all desires of theirs would be fulfilled without question. Well, except one. Sixteen year-old Perri Bennett desperately craves an escape from the community. She would dig her way out of there if she could. If, for all except one day out of the month, her mind didn't take over and tell her that she loved it there. If, Perri wasn't one of the Cleansed. When a catastrophic situation threatens the uniformity of the community, Perri must make the ultimate sacrifice and abandon all she knows in exchange for the opportunity to explore what life was like outside the walls of her home over 20 years before the community, or Perri, ever existed.
