Struggle in the Amazon

Realizing that I would have to make a break for it, I said a silent prayer, quickly unzipped the door, and ran. I stumbled over a tree root, but balanced myself out before I could fall completely. After that stumble, I am sure it got much closer, but at least I had a head start.

Lacy's friends abandoned her last minute while she waited at the airport, ready to fly to South America. Since she was already there, she decides to go ahead with her planned hike through the Amazon rain forest. What she doesn't expect is a Jaguar right out side her tent.
