I never noticed how far away my house was until it felt like my heart was going to beat out of my mouth.I clutch my back pack so hard my hands turn light purple and ooze white. Even though I don't turn around I hear heavy footsteps at least 6 yards behind me. I am now paranoid because it's dark outside and it's a big movie moment- a girl is being followed for weeks then BAM she gone missing. Finally I reach my 2 leveled dark tan house after walking 3 blocks in the cold brisk night. As soon as my fingers touch the door knob my muscles relaxed leaving my lungs with no air. I guess I was holding my breath. I quickly move to the window to catch a glimpse of a 6 foot, buffed arm guy turn around at the end of my driveway. Does alexis have a threat to keep her eye on, even with the new guy in town?
