It's nearly Christmas, and all Ella Childs is trying to do is get her best friend, Luke, the present he deserves. After all, he was the one with her favorite ice cream and movies when she got rejected by her one of her petty crushes. He was also the one to calm her down when finals nearly cracked her. He's been there every moment she's needed him, and even when she thought she didn't, he was there. When she met Luke in freshman year, it was obvious that he was her god-send. Now all she wants to do this holiday season, is get her best friend a gift worthy of Luke Callahan. Of course, she's trying, she really is, but nothing is as hectic as the gift-giving season this year. Ella is beyond stressed, but she won't give up until she finds the perfect gift. On Luke's side, he knows that the only thing he's missing this holiday season is Ella Childs, herself. Will Ella figure out that all Luke wants for this Noël is her?

High school is the time where you find yourself. You make friends that become your whole life, or become the death of you. You find the love of your life, or experience your first heart break. You either have the best time of your life, or learn why there are so many movies about how horrible high school is. Maybe you become a straight A student, a Cheerleader, or the Quarterback. Possibly you party too hard and crumble under peer pressure. Whatever it is high school does to you, those years help you become who you are. No matter how messed up they may be. Sammie is 17, and she is learning the hard way how easy it is to get lost in those years. Luke, a boy she has gone to school with for almost a year, starts showing an interest in her. Can he help her find her way out of her own choices before she drowns in them?
