Bands and music are pretty normal, right? And so are the people in them. Right? Well, not in this case. Nuclear Fallout isn't one of those bands. The singer has a secret. One that keeps him up at night and keeps him searching for warm, red liquids. He hates his parents, and his family scares him. The lead guitarist also is scared of part of his family, but only his father. He has scars and bruises running up and down his body, and he does everything he can to cover them up. He also has an ability that could seriously hurt people, but he tries to it keep hidden. The bassist's senses overlap. She's the main lyricist, and she can tell when something isn't working well with the rest of the music because of this ability. She has a constant headache that is only ever relieved when listening to music. The drummer has a power that not even he knows about. He can only use it when he's in heightened states of emotion, and that doesn't happen often. In this story, the four members of the band try to figure out how to use their abilities, make it out of high school (hopefully alive for two of the members) and to deal with each other.

"I see the world and it seems like I see it so differently than most other people. It makes me really angry most of the time. Especially since no one ever listens to me or what I've got to say. I try to express myself in so many different ways and no one sees it. When I sing a song people will only care about how the music sounds or how much I swore. If I paint, people will see the picture but not the meaning. It seems so obvious to me but everyone just seems to... close their eyes. Or at least shut off their brain. As if I see things they don't. But when they don't listen, how can I communicate that to them? It's so frustrating." Allie is a high school student and has big plans to make the world a better place. But her own head is pitting against her, throwing rocks in her path on a daily basis. Everything seems to be great for a while but what happens when her world suddenly comes crashing down around her? Can she ever recover? A coming-of-age story that deals with mental ilnesses, grief, first loves and family, briefly taps into the subject of religion and will likely enrapture you. Trigger warning: mental illnesses, self harm, death, dealing with grief, mentions of guns and gun control, mentions of cults, mentions of homophobia, dissociation. Names of bands, band members and song titles have been changed but at this point I want to credit mainly Palaye Royale, the band 'Homesick Soldiers' that is mentioned throughout is heavily based off them, but I'm sure if you're familiar with them you would have been able to tell that :)

She thought she was saving them both from a lot of heartache. Which wasn't the case. 14 year-old Clarke was heart broken when Lexa disappeared and no one could or wanted to tell her where she went, "It's better this way." Her parents kept telling her. At 18 years-old, Lexa returns to New York to attend her fathers funeral after a fatal shooting but doesn't find it in her heart to face Clarke. Only two years after that when circumstances neither of them can control, forces them both to collide again. Now young adults, Clarke 19 years-old and Lexa 20 years-old. The Woods sisters, Lexa and Luna, co-lead Trikru and boy are they a force to be reckoned with in the Gang world as well as the business world. A Deal is made and hearts get broken. -This is a Clexa and Sea Mechanic AU.- ~WARNING: STRONG LANGUAGE IS USED IN THIS STORY AND IT HAS EXPLICIT SEXUAL CONTENT.~ ____________________________ Also published on AO3 under the same name & username. ____________________________ This story is good for a quick Clexa fix but you'll most likely cringe.
