Hide and Seek

My heartbeat was picking up pace as I pushed myself further into the wall of the pitch black room I held my breath as I heard the door swing open. "Come out, come out where ever you are.." a deep voice mockingly called as I heard the footsteps going the opposite direction of me I blindly sprint towards the door. I hissed in pain as I bumped into a wall my hands quickly searched for the doorknob and yanked it open. I raced out the room and down the hall once I heard echoing footsteps I ducked into another dark room and shut the door. I blindly made my way towards the corner of the wall and tried to calm my racing heart. My breathing hitched as a pair of strong arms suddenly wrapped around my waist and pulled my back into a hard chest. "Why did you run? I'm a master of hide and seek" a deep voice whispered in my ear causing a shiver to run down my spine. His deep chuckle filled the room followed by answering my scream for help.
