{NANOWRIMO WINNER} "He looked to the sky, wandering about the epic irony there was to his life, and to the victors of the war, and to his feeling of confusion through the winter blaze." Adlar Diedrick watched his mother die through the eyes of his old confused twelve-year old eyes His nose smelled the murder and injustice through the heavy bombs that fell upon his town. He watched Germany fall over him. When he finally saw his father, he questioned his state of mind. He questioned himself, through the deadly warfare that his aunt was raising slowly towards the Americans, a road to destroy the far Western nation and British foes alongside the allies. Adlar's state of mind is made to propel a question to a devastating dilemma- to kill the woman he called his aunt for vengeance, or to join her in the quest to show his gratitude for saving his life. The answer ran deeper than the wounds he received from time to time. |Finally finished| after a month of writing! Whoa! I hope you enjoy reading it :)
