Allison's Travel Notebook

Once upon a time, far far away, little Lisa, happened to cross paths with a legendary traveller across the lands of Egypt... Allison D'Arcy! Having in common their passion for Wanderlust they developed a lasting friendship for ages! Yet one tragic day this blooming friendship saw a devastating end with the death of Lisa on one such travel journey.

Allison was a gorgeous young lady, with just one aim in life... Wanderlust. She was different, Lisa called her unique, even special and so she was, after all not many of us are lucky enough to be born without feet....

Thoughtful and optimistic, Allison was very kind and grateful mainly because she always felt lucky since she wouldn't ever have to face the dilemma of Cutting toenails all her life!
Her biological parents considered her miserable, the good-for-nothing kind, and that too deformed, so they left her homeless even before she was 2.
Luckily for Allison, she was found, nurtured and brought up by a strong feminist- D'Arcy Williams.
Taking her care-mothers name D'Arcy, as her last name she decided to showcase her blessings to the same world that looked down on her strength and called it her shortcoming.

Travelling the world through the bounty of books, television, travel videos and a lot more, Allison has maintained her own special travel Notebook, in which she writes about her imaginary experience -traveling with her character best-friend Lisa.

This story that you are about to read is particularly the last story in Allison's notebook where she completely gives up her desire for Wanderlust.
