Seventeen year old, Ashlyn Carter, has never liked the government, but now she is out to for revenge. The government has killed her father. Now she has no one, but her 2 friends, Veronica and Austin, and her terrible boyfriend, Derek. I live in a place called Distin. Distin is on the Edge. Literally. As little kids we've always been told not to go beyond the Edge. The Edge is water. As far as the eye can see its water. People say that there is nothing beyond the Edge, but I don't trust the government, not anymore. They killed my father, for being creative, different. Now I know to hide my true personality. People may think there is nothing beyond the Edge. But I know better than to trust what people think. And I can tell you that I feel like the Edge is going to change my destiny.
