He sat on his surfboard not to far from the beach, the waves causing the board to rock back and fourth. The boy was about to take the next wave when he heard the most beautiful voice:

"Someday I'll learn to walk..." she said.
"Wriggle my toes in the golden sand. 
What's it like to have legs instead?
Run, jump, skip, stand. 
And see what it's like to live on land."

When he no longer heard the voice that he heard coming from the large rock near the shallow waters, he started to paddle to shore. Right before he stepped foot on the wet sand, he heard a splash and got a glimpse of sunset colored fin.All Rights Reserved
