But since she first phased when she was 13, her parents, not wanting her to have the burden of what being a White Wolf means, kept her hidden & forbid her to ever shift, but, when they are killed by rogues a year later, Rose is forced to go on the run, & survive on her own.
Spending the past 6 years drifting through different packs, offering her services in different ways, Rose has gotten used to a life on the run, & is now spending her days living in a small, isolated cottage in the Omega Pack, on the Kentucky-Virginia border.
One day, after years of remaining in her human form, Rose decides to 'stretch her legs' & go for a run, but she accidentally stumbles into Virginia, into White Pack territory, & catches the attention of Liam, the White Pack Alpha. From there, Rose is taken against her will, driven days away from everything she knows, deep into upstate New York, to the properties of the Alpha, & the current White Wolf, only to discover her mate, her pack, & the life she was destined for. The life she could no longer run from.
