Erin Rhythms is a musical prodigy of the Rhythms family. As a young child she loved to play the piano and her talent was quickly noticed. She played all the time and her name was well known, but as she got older her songs changed. They had no soul to them, they were soulless, lifeless, had no feeling to them.

Now fourteen, Erin has had just about enough with doing something she no heart for anymore, but suddenly, a mysterious boy meets with her. She listened to him play and when he did something inside her was ignited and when she played in her final show, she was spectacular. But she felt like there was something else she had to do before making the decision of what path she wanted to take, but is she cut out to be a Meister to Soul "Eater" Evans when one of their greatest challenges is right in front of them when a new school suddenly opens and are training Meisters and Weapons to try and create a new Kishin?
