Olivia is an extraordinary girl. She had tragedies happen to her, yet she somehow still stands her ground. She won't open up easily because she's been hurt in ways words don't have the justice to describe. Liv knows grief well. Reason being she doesn't have any family anymore. She lost her real parents from a murder & she's lost her foster mom  from cancer and her father because it got way to hard for him without his wife anymore. She's lonely to say the least. Kind of along with how Elijah felt.

Elijah was a Mikaelson with 3 brothers and 1 sister, excluding the 2 sadly lost siblings through traumatic events over a thousand years ago. Elijah was the one in the family that tried to keep everyone together. He never chose sides and he defended everyone. He kept his word and was fair about everything except for himself. He never seemed to put his deep feelings out there other than determination and passion for his family, but that didn't mean he never felt them. To him it seemed as if love was to be non existent, like he wasn't perhaps allowed to be granted with it. Although that's all he ever wanted, but every girl he ever loved ended up getting hurt.

He met Olivia, bewildered by her suffering and the way she still holds her head up high. She was intriguing to him. He found himself very fond of her, but struggling with how to resist the temptation of loving her.

He fears Olivia might be harmed during the war between his brother Klaus, Marcel and the Witches. He doesn't want her to be involved but he knows there'll be a day where she gets right in the center of it, but he does everything he can to prevent that. What will happen to Olivia during this war? Will she fall in love with Elijah, the way he does with her? 

Hopefully they find a way to feel the happiness they deserve at least with eachother.
