Winnie stood still, her breaths cut short as she stared at the warm red liquid that was dripping off of his finger tips.
He had murdered that man right before her eyes. Gazing hopelessly as his claws dug into the mans neck severing his jugular. She watched horrified as his victim gasped, his blood splattering across Dexters face like paint does on a painters brush. All she could hear was gasping and Dexters amused laugh. He let the man fall to the ground before turning to Winnie, his face now holding the same threatening look he always composed so well.
"I told you before Winnie, I'm insane, I feel nothing, except of course, the unadulterated bliss that flows through me when I watch my victims life leave them." That cold and void look that his eyes always held made her stomach churn violently.
Before she knew it the contents of her morning meal was rising in her stomach. The smell of blood invading her senses and that terrible look in his eyes made her hold her stomach as she vomited.
As tears blurred Winnie's eyes, the only word that came to mind was monster.
