After moving across the country to escape traumatic experiences and her dangerous past, Aspen finds herself at a new university as she tries to find her place and people. On her own and fear pricking at every inch of her being, she wonders how long it will be before the past she is running from catches up to her.

Dax is your typical college frat boy. He prefers parties over staying in and whiskey instead of beer. Everything about his life seems typical, even down to his group of friends that treat each other like family, but the boys have darker secrets they hide under it all.

When Aspen meets Dax and his friends, all seems normal until she pays a little too close attention to each of them. Lies unfold as Aspen past haunts her and she finds out more about her life and the death of her father than she ever knew before.

and it doesn't help that she has been falling for everyone close to her.
