When the World Fell

Jace was sitting in his cubicle when he heard the screaming. His head jolted up and his heart rate increased.
"RUN!! THEY'RE AT THE DOOR" A co-worker shouted at the elevator doors. Everyone started panicking and running around. Jace remained calm. And surprisingly, even though his superiors were being mauled to death, he didn't even flinch.
