It takes time for anyone to figure out who they truly are, especially if you lived a different lifestyle than anybody else. It takes time to know who will be there for you, even in your toughest of times. That's why life is the hardest thing to live, especially when you're trying to live a good one...one that people around you will be proud about...one that you won't be disappointed with. It takes time to truly know if this is the life you want to live and these are the decisions you want to make and the ones you won't regret. It's easy to do this sometimes, but if you don't even know what you want...who you are...then all these choices just are not easy to understand and make. This is where you're stuck between the gap of reality and the dream...when your life and the ones you love starts slipping away, along with your sanity...but there's a chance you can bridge this gap, and regain your stability in life. Sometimes it's a person that helps you bridge this gap...sometimes it's an idea or a dream, but there's always a chance...only once though...and yet, sometimes people are too attached to their past that they cannot bridge this gap, and they fall deeper...and deeper, into their well.
This is what Kurou Takuma tells himself everyday. He can't help it, not after being gay shamed by his entire family and most of his friends. His life spiraled down to shit, and he's never really understood why. But the thing he does know, is his life is the very definition of shitville... that is, until he meets Shirou Takuya.
