Living on the Runway

The life of a teen supermodel: no dating, no eating, no freedom. I am Demitria Strayar, 17 year old Romanian supermodel, younger sister of fashion model-phenom Daymura Strayar. The media sees a confident girl, with a beautiful face and a killer body. But no one knows how I was orphaned at the age of 10, or how my agent Laynie Michaels became the sole guardian of Day and me when she was 20 to keep us from being sent out of America. They don't understand the pressures of my lifestyle, or what it can do to people.
On the opening night of Fashion Week in New York City, Demitria's life is thrown into chaos. She quits modeling, leaves New York, and does her best to pick up the pieces of her life, alone. Doing her best to fit into society as a regular teen, Demi enrolls in a public school in California. There, she learns what real friendship is, how to handle teenage boys, and, above all, how to move on.
