Now having multiple LotR oneshots, I may as well make this a book for them.

Shadow of Mirkwood

Our story follows a Hobbit by the name of Marlena Rowen-Baggins. A resident of the Shire, at the age of six she was taken in by Bilbo Baggins after he had found her wandering alone far away from her home. At age eight, she was officially adopted by him. Ever since, she has become close to some of the Baggins family, particularly her adoptive father, Bilbo, and adoptive brother, Frodo Baggins, who is also Bilbo's nephew. Marlena's story begins on the day of Bilbo's 111th birthday, a day that will change her life, and Frodo's, forever.
