That is until I meet his darkly intimidating roommate Ander who seems to hate me on principle for being human, even before laying eyes on me. 

Ander - Me and my big fat mouth. After catching the scent of my erasthai at work and being unable to find her my mood is beyond pissed and I end up scaring her away. Now my whole world is thrown into disarray. I've waited for her for centuries and now she wants nothing to do with me.

A completely original story with a borrowed and slightly altered universe concept.
