Whispers from the Woods

A first attempt into the world of short story writing. This is a classic scary monster under your bed story. This short narrative is told from an adults point of view looking back at the past and the monster that tormented his childhood years. I had been influenced by the looming red sandstone hill behind my house and the dark impenetrable woods that cover it, drawing on creatures from HP Lovecraft.
